Walk the Edge of Wales, a 47 mile coastal route staying at en suite accommodation
Day 1 Arrive at the Beuno Inn in Clynnog Fawr. Clynnog is accessible
by public transport, by taking a train to Bangor Station from Manchester or
Liverpool Airports, followed by a number 5 bus to Caernarfon and a number 12
bus to Clynnog. Alternatively if you rent a car, the A55 North Coast Road
will take you quickly to Bangor, followed by the A487 through Caernarfon,
then the A499. Clynnog Church was the traditional assembly point for
medieval pilgrims making the journey to Bardsey Island and whose footsteps
you follow. The Beuno is a friendly village inn with en suite bedrooms.
Day
5 We will return you to Porth Oer for you to walk around the National
Trust owned headland at the tip of the peninsula- stunning views of Bardsey
Island- finishing in Aberdaron itself
